    I got my Datavideo DAC-100 today. I just did my first capture using S-Video and the result is greyscale. I exported a JPG and examined it in Phtoshop to confirm that the RGB values are all identical. I captured in both Vegas Video and Scenalyzer so that rules out the capturing software.

    Does your unit have a PAL/NTSC setting?

    Yes, it's set for NTSC and I'm in the US.

    I tried it again after reconnecting everything and it worked fine. I guess one of the connections was loose. The captures look great.
