When I first started burning DVDs, I was paying $6-$7 per disc for generic 1x media.
$130 for 100 name brand TDK discs is amazing. I still have my original 1x burner, so I don't worry too much about 4x discs- I'm waiting for an 8x before upgrading. But, I've seen 4x discs for less than a dollar. Then again, you get what you pay for. -
According to Techbargains Sunday July 20 Best Buy will have Memorex 25 pack 4X DVD+R for $29.99

$130?!?
Crap -- I paid $189 for a 100-pack cakebox of TDK's less than a month ago. Dammit... knew I should've waited... -
The Best Buy deal for 100 pack of TDK 4X DVD+R media at $129 was only good for one week, and expired approximately 2 weeks ago. But this week's deal at Best Buy is even better, and is available online with free shipping.
