Is there a guide on here (that works), to convert a PAL avi to NTSC film avi, tehn convert to VCD?
all i see is guides to convert PAL VCD to NITSC film VCD.

and Tommyknocker, i didnt ask for questions, i wanted to know if there was a guide out ther.

and to answer ur question cuz i tried and i have never worked with PAL, and i dont think 1 of my dvd players supports it. and NTSC almost has universal support.

Why. If your final requiremet is VCD, why convert the avi from one format to another first, all you are doing is making work for yourself and reducing the quality of the final product by introducing an extra encoding stage. The guide I linked to (perhaps with a bit of re-interpretation, the basics are ther) will allow you to take your PAL Avi and produce an NTSC VCD, isn't that what you want? Or am I missing something here?

If you really do want to convert the avi from 25fps to 23.976fps then I can give you a few simple steps that will achieve this.
