  1. Hi

I have some DVD burned into generic tipe media, this DVDs not play in some tabletop players.

My question is, if i copy this DVDs into a new media like Pioneer or some good brand, is posible this vorks fine in tabletop players.

    Sory mu english.

    gracias

  2. You should experiment to find out what media works in your own standalone player (just buy 1 of each).
My cheap GE Player plays everything I throw at it.....my Samsung player spits out everything I throw at it!

  4. if he hasn't tested w/ other brands, then there's no way to tell if it's the media itself, or perhaps the burning method...maybe his dvd player doesn't support DVD-R

    1) look for your dvd player here: https://www.videohelp.com/guides

enter in your dvd player and find out if it supports DVD-Rs

    2) which program are u using to burn the DVD-R and how fast are you burning them at?

personally, i use cheapo 1X princo media and works well on my pioneer dv333....however, the best way to tell if it's a media problem is to test your burned DVD-R on another dvd player or several...
