Can I copy only certain chapters from dvd's

Is it possible to copy certain chapters from my movie dvds onto a dvd-r?

Its complicated to do this

One way to get chapters easily into seperte discrete VOB containing all orig cintent (SUBTITLES, AUDIO STREAMS)
is to use the SMARTRIPPER to highlight the chapters you need and rip them

Then you need to AUTHOR a new DVD
create your new MENUS and such

Open DVD LAB or DVD ARCHITECT (these programs accept VOB's-with minor modification..you may hv'ta have DEMUXed the VOB's-with stream processing in the orig smart RIP..))

Couldn't you get chapter info from Chapter Xtractor, input that into TMPGenc Author, go to edit clip page and cut between chapters you don't want?

Yeah but using Chapter Extrctor is even more compliction.
Above as I said

OPEN SMART RIPPER..go to MOVIE MODE
DESELECT THE CHAPTERS YOU DON'T WANT
DONE

If you use Chap Extrctor you need the whole dvd on your hard drive first
