Can anyone give me some information on some reputable companies that sell hardware at good prices online? Specifically I'm looking for hardware, but do not want anything refurbished.

The best computer hardware source on the internet!
http://newegg.com/ -
idot.com
buy.com
PCnation.com
Tigerdirect.com ---- but watch out for these guys, sometimes the stuff is new, sometimes pulls, sometimes refurbished. They are pretty sneaky about noting which is which. If it says NEW then it will be, if it doesn't then..........Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
newegg.com good serivce and upfront not way overblown shipping options. Goto resellerratings.com and type newegg.com in, that tells the entire story. My whole last computer was purchased off their site. Some stuff is a few bucks more but when your buying a bunch of stuff it quickly adds up in shipping savings.

My 3 choices would be:
1. www.googlegear.com
2. www.avlogic.com
3. www.buy.com -
I've bought from Monarch Computer and googlegear on more than one occasion. Monarch's customer service was good, when I needed to return a motherboard that blinked out. The turn around time was kind of long on the replacement part, but that's about the most negative thing that I can say about them. They don't have the cheapest online prices or shipping, but it's worth it for the level of customer service that they provide, should a part break or be DOA.
I've also placed two orders with googlegear with no problems. I don't know if I'll be ordering from them in the future, though. I was reading reviews at pricegrabber, bizrate, and resellerratings. From what I've read, they sometimes send out used parts and also charge a 15% restocking fee for parts that are DOA. Even though it's not the consumer's fault. Basically, you'll end up paying 15% of the purchase price, if anything has to be replaced, whether it's your fault or not. The people who disputed the charges with their credit card companies got a full refund, but who wants to go through that kind of hassle?
On the bright side, they have some of the lowest prices and cheap/free shipping on most items. I also recieved my orders from googlegear faster than from Monarch.
I've never ordered from newegg before, but I'm probably going to use them next. They have decent prices and it seems that their return policy is pretty good. -
While we're on this topic of online purchasing establishments, I'd also like to know what are the best places for ordering cheap--but quality--DVD blank media. I've seen ads on this site, but not sure if they are any cheaper than what I can get in a local store. I'm looking for media that won't cost any more than 2 bucks a disc. That is about what I'm paying, maybe a little over, right now. I know if I buy in larger quantities, I pay less. Anybody have advice on where to go and/or what brands to get?
Sorry if this belongs in another forum, but it seems to go along with the topic. -

www.rima.com
www.allmediaoutlet.com (free shipping for most)

Always make sure there isn't a sticker on the box saying its a return else your taking your life into your own hands.
Also their lowest quality of memory has a VERY high return rate. -
