I think I just f***ed up my mobo...again. Found a Swiftec M462A at coolerguys for less than $75 including shipping. Get it, take the motherboard out to install it. Installations instructions said that you could put a drop of crazy glue to secure the washers and nuts. Against my better judgement I did it, although I suspected crazy glue would screw things up. Sure enough the system wouldn't start. Took the motherboad out of the system and removed the nuts and washers with a pair of pliers, scratching the underside of the mobo under the processor in the process. Now the system powers up but not video, beep errors or anothing. I was so mad at myself I already ordered another mobo since I can't afford to have it down for three weeks until I get a replacement. Is it defintely deep-sixed or is there anything else I can try?

try to rub out the scratches if possible.
contact coolguys and tell them the mobo you got was defective.
seeing as how you dont have time to wait for there standard bs of returning, you're going to buy another one and want a refund for the defective one, without a restocking fee.
and you want free shipping on the newly ordered one, and want them to cover shipping on the mobo you're sending back.
just be adament it is THEIR fault you are having this problem, THEY sold you a DEFECTIVE mobo, and this wouldnt have happened if THEY hadnt SCREWED UP.
