Vcd Encoding

Hi

I have a danish Divx movie, i want to convert to Vcd using TMPGenc PLUS 2.56

When i Start The Wizzard and Select the movie, Step 4/5
i guess my file size wanna be 3196. mb and 319 min when the Divx Moviez just 683 MB And 106 Min.

Plz help i dont now what i hat do wrong?

Check the bitrate... It must be 1150 kbps... You'll have to split the file or lower the bitrate... because a vcd at 1150 kbps is around 74 min on a cd!

The bitrate is 1150, i think that shutt be reconvert to DivX???

I've encountered this problem a few times before and the following worked for me:

On the Advanced tab, double-click on 'Source range' then click 'Move to end frame' and finally, click 'Set end frame' so it changes the default setting of -1 to whatever number is the last frame in your divx file. Click ok, then go through the rest of the wizard setup and see if that reports the correct length and size. Always worked for me.

I remember that problem... What I always have done is using Virtualdub. Set audio as source/avi audio or Direct Stream Copy. Click save wave. Save it & wait till the progress stops. Open TMPGEnc & Select first your video source after that you have to change audio source to that saved .wav file.... ( I hope you'll understand....)
