  2. Simple get streambox vcr. Copy the link and select download. I am downloading the stream right now. The version i have says that it cannot be sold or used for commercial purposes, so I assume I am not advocating anything illegal by posting this link

(sorry had to kill the link, apparently its illegal to own this program in the U.S? - not sure about that, but rather be safe than modded. Do a search if you must)

You do know that the file is 113 MB right?

  5. ok not quite sure what the deal is, but you might need to tinker with some settings just to be sure.

under the view menu, select settings > connections,

make sure that under "always use http for downloading" that mms is checked.

Also under postprocess, make sure that every file type is checked.

Other than that, delete both links, go to your received folder and delete any downloads and start again. The second file I believe is the audio stream, don't worry about it, the program automatically joins audio and video. All I do is enter in the url with download > paste link (or just use the globe icon) and it just downloads the file.

  6. oh another thing, don't delete any links that pop up after you select download, just let the program do its thing, it will give you an estimation of how much time is remaining, how big the file is, and how fast it is streaming (in kbps).

Well I got it to work but the audio and video were way out of sync after I converted it to .mpg. The audio also cut out about 2min in the video.

    Any idea?

  9. Did you use tmpgenc to encode? Did the audio cut out in the middle before or after encoding?

I'm not quite an expert on asf to mpeg encoding, you might want to do a search on the forums or start a thread just on that subject. Other than that I don't know, there are probably other programs that do asf to mpeg encoding, but whether they will do a better job is beyond me.
