Using tmpeg and having to use directshow VFAPI on the highest priority (getting the dreaded memory error etc!). Trying to convert an Xvid (tried changing the cc to divx with same problems) into mpeg1 format. The last one I did I managed to use the tmpeg VFAPI plugin (everything was on defaults in that section) and the frames were great, no jerking and perfect picture. Now that I have changed to the directshow, the frames jerk like crazy in the mpeg file.
Are there any plugins I can use other than what is in there? (the vfapi I mean) as the directshow one seems to be rubbish.
There are no errors in the file I am converting and have tried slowing the scan rate to best etc with same rresults. HELP!!![]()

Answered my own question, and now have another!!
Problem was it didn't like the NTSC to PAL conversion (other file did!) and now the question is this:
My tv won't play ntsc (dvd player will but not tv, black and white) so how do I get this ntsc into pal format? is there any way to do it?
