  1. ok so i got some footage i recodred with my camerea. i original put it to svcd but no i wanna put that footage on to dvdr. so i use tmpg to amke the mpeg2 dvd compliant files and aurthur using maestro.

i then burn my files using stomp recoder by draging the video_ts folder in and making a audio_ts folder.

now it plays fine in my dvd player but i wanna make a backup of this disk for friends and family , but when i try this it will not work. i keep getting a datasense error with prassi and nero just fills the gaps in and the resulting dvdbackup wil not work past the % that nero filled from.

this is weird because the dvd i burned from using the folders from my hdd work. but the backup i did of this disk using nero will not work.

i also cannot copy the files over to my hdd.

  2. Have you tried ripping it w/ a ripping tool to your HD and then burning those folders? I had to do that once and it worked. Or maybe I'm just talking out of my rear...

You should be able to simply drag the audio/video_ts folders to your drive, and then burn the same way you made the first disk. If not, then I am out of suggestions, sorry.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
