Purchased the ADVC100 today and a Swann firewire card.
My system is AMD 1600 and for the moment I want to stay with Win98SE. I installed the firewire card successfully, as it shows PCI OHCI 1394 Host Controller in Windows Control panel. However, when connecting the ADVC100 and rebooting, Windows wants to install another driver. The Add New Hardware Wizard comes up, and is searching for new drivers for 1394\A02D&10001. Anyone know what this means, and where I would find the drivers it is looking for?
I can verify that the Firewire card and the ADVC100 are working OK, as they have been tested on WinXP (on another machine).
TIA
