  1. Hey guys

    Plz help!

    as I was making a backup of blade 2 speciel edition CD 2 with DVD2ONE it made a total size at 4.67GB and it should be below 4.38 GB, how could that be? did i do any thing wrong?

    1. I ripped with Smartripper
    2. DVD2ONE V1.1.3

    I had the same problem with DVD2One v1.1.3 some time ago. DVD2One uses some kind of prediction in how to compress the movie. If it predicts wrong, the file size changes. (might be smaller, might be bigger). The problem being the files are bigger.

    First of all, reencoding is the easiest solution.
    To solve this you can either lower the output file size in DVD2one or use a different program. (Like DVD95Copy).
    Like i said i had the same problem with DVD2One and re-did the whole movie using DVD95Copy. The resulting movie was then exactly 4.37Gb and had better quality

    Aight I'll give it a try with DVD95Copy, you say it did have a better quality, so did you do the cd 1 also in DVD95Copy or DVD2ONE..

    I get very confused on whcih tools are best

    1. DVD95Copy
    2. DVD2ONE
    3. DVDshrink
    4. Instant Copy
    ect..

    Whcih one do u use?

    All of them are excellent programs and depending on the DVD I may use one or the other. I don't use Instant Copy anymore because it's just too slow. The new program DVDX Copy Xpress is a good one for quality however it does movie only backups but then it's fast and the quality is very good IMO.

  6. I meant i had the same problem as in ouput files are to big, not ouput files of blade 2 being to big. It happend to me when doing some Stargate SG-1 Discs.
