    Hi,
    a friend of mine got probs with PRINCO 4X
    they work fine on my Pioneer DVR-105, 15min burn at 4X,
    He can only burn at 1X and get error,
    he tried 2 times and got errors rapidly after it begun, he tried with NERO & EZ CD creator Platinum.
    What shall we do ?

    He needs a 4x drive with proper firmware.

    Arf sorry I forgot to write that he's got a Pioneer A04, so it only write a 2X
    anyway I' ve found that he has to upgrade his firmware.
    I' ll do it so he'll be able to use these media.

    Ive got an NEC 1100a and i stated that it was a 4x drive.
    That would only record at 2x as well until i found out that before you started Nero, You have to put an ariginal DVD film in the drive first.
    This does work fine and gives me the capabilities to write at 4x, but is still a bit of a pain.
