... what percentage do you normalize to? If my sound came from an analog source, i normalize to %100, if the sound came from a DVD and i'm making a VCD, i normalize to %120. any thoughts?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Laserdiscs are cool, but laserdiscs on DVD-Rs are cooler.

Always normalise to 99%. Anything over 100% will be distorted on peaks.

Yep! Don't confuse Normalize with Volume. It's not quite the same thing. Normalize is a relative adjustment of individual sound levels, whereas Volume is an absolute adjustment of all levels.

There's also peak and RMS normalisation ... but we won't go there!!
