(skip to bold if in a hurry)i am capturing files in huffy and then editing in Premiere.
the problem is the biggest block on HDD space i have is my 80 gig RAID (or an 80gig single disk)
so a huffy file thats like 50 gigs and then editored (adding effects, other files and transitions) and then exported into Huffy again doesnt fit.
i want to do the final encode and add filters in VD.
from your experiences, how much of a quality loss would i get if i:
exported a DivX file and then re-encoded it in VD adding filters, back to DivX again, with same compression settings ???
or any other better suggestions for what i am doing??
