    Please add "if you are having a software problem, consider updating to the latest version before posting."


    I've noticed alot of posts latly were the problem is fixed by updating.

    It is all very well for you to say this, not everyone would know an update would fix a problem. This also depends on the problem as well and what it is? Could be a bug, a conflict, inadequate computer and so on.

    Not all software would work on someone's computer and a problem could be solved with a different program or driver. A Microsoft fix may also be a solution to the problem as well.

    Anyway, I experienced an older NVIDIA capturing driver did fix my problem of a white box capturing a movie. So, updating isn't always applicable.
