  1. I bought Ulead's MovieFactory v2.0 after reading about it here...

When I take a 16:9 AVI (encoded with either DiVX or XVid) and
burn it on a DVD, the result on TV is terrible. The original widescreen
has been stretched verticall and fills the whole TV screen.

There is a check box in the MovieFactory software, but it is greyed out
    and I cannot change it.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are there any fixes to
    this problem?

    Thanks for any replies!

  2. creamypanda,
I have the same issue. Ulead Moviefactory 2.0 custom setting is not available. It is greyed out. I am trying to do the same as you, take a 16:9 AVI and burn to DVD and keep the same aspect ratio. I'm having no luck with it!
I've also tried TMPGenc trial. I've not had luck here either. The audio is not captured. Plus the aspect ratio is still off. The avi I'm trying to put to mgep is divx.
Anyone with a suggestion on how to "UN-Grey" the custom settings within MovieFactory 2.0??
