    I own a playstation 2 and it is my only means of media playing besides my PC.

    Is there any viewable formats that I can burn from PC to watch in my PS2?

    Can I clean up the poor resolution I see when I download video files from the net. Usually around 1000mBs per minute of video and only looks decent in 2 inch squares.

    any help woul be greatlt appreciated thanks

    If a file is a crappy resolution, you cannot convert it and make it look any better. The output will never look better than the source.

    Well, you can watch DVD on your PS2. Anything else is pretty much no.
