  1. Hello. This is a real newbie question...but I just am a bit confused. I tried to lower the bitrate of a movie that I have but when I load the movie I keep on getting file unsupported or the audio shows up but not the video. I know that means to install some codecs. But my question is that when I install the codecs , I installed them to the Tmpgenc folder, which is in my C drive. When I go to the TMPGenc enviornmental settings, the codec that I just installed isnt listed. What am I doing wrong? When I download a codec for TMPGenc where do I save it to?
