    I used tool have a small program that would tell you the exact dye of any blank DVD-R

    eg:- Infinity or Planetdisc are Ritek G03 Dye

    But ive lost it and i cant remember what it was called or where i got it from

    Does anyone have any Idea please ?

    Ive downloaded it but like the others in that thread i cant seem to get it to work right

    Thats not the program that i had before i wish i could remember what it was called

    Anyone else have any ideas

  6. yeh if your using winXP or similar you need ASPI layer installed like that from adaptec. Try gettin ForceASPI or something. Nero wouldnt work for some reason.

    Yeah, sorry I forgot how much trouble I had getting ADVDINFO to work....

    I am running WinXP Pro and you have to copy the ADVDINFO.exe into the Windows>System32 folder and then run ADVDINFO.exe from the System32 folder......then make sure to select 0E-Pre Recorded information in LEAD-IN, your DVD drive ofcourse, and then hit....'Read DVD Sturcture' .....

    should work, let me know....
