  1. recently came upon a recent james bond film (hint hint)

it was avi divx file.. 2 each

gspot says the files are ok and latest divx codec but i have just about thrown the computer away trying to get them to play in media player..

i tried nimo pac to no avail.. i am not sure how to get rid of all and try reinstalling or what to use

    help

media player just crashes trying to play them by the way, goes ambient water song or whatever and just slows computer to nothing and dies, have to control kill it... using xp too

    thanks guys

  2. Use virtualdub to check if the audio is AC3 - you'll need an ac3 codec to play.

Maybe it was a bogus file put out by mpaa or riaa to thwart p2p sharing?
