DVD2one makeiteasy problem: angle of Star wars episode 1

This is my problem:

i want to keep all menu and extracts from original dvd of STAR WARS episode 1 and using dvd2one and makeit easy this is my problem

after having recreate the IFO file for the vov padded i start dvd2one and it isn't able to let me select the angle 2 (i'm italian and i want to see run the summary in italian lenguage) so i can select only angle 1 and the summary is alternative english and italian...in this way is not possible...

is the any method of recreate the ifo lefting out one of the two angle....so i can correct my problem

@ Alderran, i'm not sure what you are saying, because DVD2ONE shouldn't select ANY angles, becuase it doesn't decrypt. You need to use DVD Decryptor OR Smart Ripper and select the angle you want to keep for yourself. Rip the movie to your hard drive, load up DVD2ONE, and it can ONLY select angle 2 in Italian, because that is the angle you ripped to your hard drive. Enjoy

I did this with SWII. You need to rip the DVD in file mode,then put the movie only vob's in separate directory with it's ifo from the DVD rip directory. Then use IFOEDIT to select out the one angle you want,in my case that was angle one. Use the files that IFOEDIT creates as the directory to process thru Make-It-Easy and DVD2ONE. Make sure you put the original ifo back into directory were you ripped the DVD.

Alderran was talking about Star Wars Episode I, not II. Also, Ifoedit has problems detecting angles with MANY movies, so that isn't a good option. I'm sure you know about that problem though. Also, there are too many steps involved in that method anyway. The easiest option that is guaranteed to work is to rip the movie to the hard drive, before doing so, select the angle within DVD Decryptor OR Smart Ripper, then simply fire up DVD2ONE and take care of the rest. Very simpe, and no need to complicate matters.

And yes, you can select any angle you want, but im
not sure what region disc you have, region 1 has
english as angle 1,and canadian/french as two

Musher, where do you get your information from? You post garbage about Sony and have no clue what you are talking about, and now you say I don't have this program? Read that DVD2ONE thread, and you will see that I have the FULL version of the program, and have had it the day it came out. I don't use the program, by choice.

Why does this not work? It's worked for every multi-angle movie I've EVER done, and I've done plenty. Granted, I have not used this method with DVD2ONE. I do know that IFOEdit has bugs with multi angle movies, and the majority of the times, when you use a multi angle movie, IFOEdit will not detect that it is multi angle and "keep" angle box is greyed out. When you rip the entire contents of a movie to the hard drive and fire up DVD2ONE, you can continue to strip and transcode, if necessary. Ripping the angle you want to keep, along with ALL of the other files should work fine. I can't see why it wouldn't. I can test it on a multiangle movie, but I have no reason to do so.

i've tried your method abaut ripping with dvd decrypter only the angle i need and all was ok!!!!!!

but if i would like to keep the 2 angles i have in the original dvd??

maybe you think that it is not possible anymore????

Glad to hear it worked for you. As far as keeping "all" angles, I think you are opening up a can of worms. I think you would probably be satisfied with just one angle. If not, you are probably going to cause more problems then it is worth to keep both. There are guides at doom9 regarding multiangle movies, but even if you could keep all angles, you are going to have more quality degradation as you would normally, and for that alone, it isn't worth it. Pick your favorite angle, and just keep that one.

I remember reading that this is not possible (probably in the DVD2One web). At least with the current version is not possible. DVD2One will only use preprocessed VOBs (no CSS, no multi angle).
