    please,please help...a lot of the time when i download avi's at some point during the movie the picture freezes.this seems to be happening more often especially with fd2.is there a tool out there that can help with this problem....thanks

    scan the avi for bad frames in virtualdub. There is a guide on how best to handle bad frames if you look for it.

    (BTW, P2P programs like Kazaa seem to be the cause of many bad frame, maybe its something to do with the way bits of files from mutiple sources are joined together?)
