    Kwag has made a template to test out your player. How about posting results here of name of player, price and results of playback to find the cheapest "eat everything" DVD player?

    APEX AD-600A
    They don't make this DVD player any more so I just looked at the used ones on Amazon.com. You can pick one up for about $119.

    kvcd-ulbr
    ok - plays flawlessly

    kvcd-lbr
    ok - plays flawlessly
    looks better than kvcd-ulbr or kvcd-352x240 PLUS


    kvcd-352x240 PLUS
    ok - plays flawlessly


    kvcd-352x480 PLUS
    quality great - but video skips


    kvcd-704x480 PLUS
    quality great - but video skips


    kvcdx3 528x480
    plays, but it is totally messed up
