When I make a Divx video with VirtualDub the size is 352x240 pixels. I have a freind who had a video I watched that was a Divx and the size was 640x352. My freind didn't make the video he had and didn't know how it was made. Is there a way to specify the image size with VirtualDub, or is there another program that can be used to accomplish this???

It's very simple - just select 'Video' -> 'Filters' -> 'Add' , double-click on 'Resize' and set your desired output size.
For 'Filter Mode' I recommend 'precise bicubic'. -
No, if your original is 352X240 then blowing it up in size is going to make it look terrible, the reason the other is 640X352 ? its because it was made that way, you can make it smaller during conversion with TMPGEnc or re-encoding with Vdub, but don't try and expand it, and expect the quality to be as good.Originally Posted by HornOUBet
if you are making it, then how are you doing it ? capture ? wrong size, ripping ? wrong size
