Any way to spill MPG??????

I used to split my movies with TMPGEnc but when i joined them i got a "blip" in the sound and the picture freezes for a second. This REALLY annoys me. Is there any way to spill the movie like you ca ndo with avis. Sort of segmented pieces of 700mb. Does anyone know what i mean.

So i can have FOTR00.mpg FOTR01.mpg

Not sure if this will solve your problem but if you mux with bbMpeg, you can set a filesize limit.

I don't think your problem is splitting them, however, it is the Joining. Progs to reliably edit VBR MPEG-2 are rare.

WinDVR captures segmented MPG if that's what you are talking about. You should search for 'segment' on this forum and you are bound to find other solutions.

This works for MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 but it is not cheap.
