How to copy a VCD??? P L E A S E!!!!!!!!

I want to make some copies of my friends VCDs for myself. But when I tried to use Roxio EZCD lite(ie. no video CDs or slideshows)to make a data copy, it locked up. When I tried to use the "cd copy" feature which is supposed to make an exact copy of the CD, it locked up. I don't get what's going on. It's just information, it should copy like music files or anything else. Can someone PLEASE give me a simple way to make a copy of a VCD, without all the elaborate controls and tweaks, I know everything requires some settings, but I would like just a simple, as few clicks as possible, way to make a copy. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

you've already gotten the answer...
dump your crappy roxio lite , get clonecd or cdrwin (not v5).
Do a DiscCopy/DiscBackup (ignoring errors) and burn. 8)
