Hi all - I'm a big fan of Buffy, and have been buying all the seasons as they come out - however, I live in the UK and don't have cable so I'm currently grabbing season 7 episodes off the 'net as they become available - I'll obviously be buying the discs when they come out.
My problem - when I add eight or nine of these .mpg's to Dazzle's DVD Complete and produce a dvd, by the time I'm watching near the end of any episode, the sound is about half a second ahead of the video, although this isn't the case if I view the original .mpg from, say, media player.
Any thoughts? I wondered if it was the old ntsc/pal problem, but I've tried building the dvd as both types but it doesn't seeme to help.
Any/all replies gratefully received!
Rgds,

I have had out of sync problems when using Dazzle DVD complete's encoder. So I now use TMPGEnc to encode and then import the resulting mpeg into DVD complete. This was my way of resolving this problem. But you can also ask your question on this forum:

Hi - thanks for the suggestion - I've had a play around with TMPGEnc and found that if I strip the video & audio out seperately, then use the original .mpg file for the video and the stripped out .mp2 file for the audio, everything seems to stay in sync - thanks for your help over this - I'll also have a look at the Dazzle forums you mentioned...
