Capturing with my Snazzi III PCI (DVD Creator) I have a problem:
When capturing (with Movie Mill) to the pre-loaded MPEG1 VIDEOCD format, the resulting MPG file seems not to be a Videocd compliant MPG at all. Nero says that the file has a non standard stream, and that the audio stream has 0 (zero) Hz. Also TMPGenc says that the stream is Not Supported or Not Recognized.
I tried then to set manually the configuration of Movie Mill to MPEG1 - 320x288 - 1.150MBPS. The MPG was recognized by TMPGenc, BUT not by NERO. Reencoding with TMPGenc the final result was OK also with NERO.
Furthermore, both the MPG files (preloaded and manually configured) had VBR (measured with Bitreview) and not CBR as required. Unfortunately the CBR/VBR box in Movie Mill is disabled.
Of course it is quite annoying to have to reencode the MPG (takes twice the time), is there any suggestion? Note that when capturing in MPEG2 DVD format, the resulting MPG is perfectly compliant.
Thanks and regards
M.
