    Can I play NTSC VCDs on my PAL dvd player my dvd player is a Alba 108. So if i used TMPGEnc to encode my movies to NTSC VCD will it play on my PAL Alba 108 dvd player then. It can play PAL VCDs and PAL SVCDs as well. Could you let me know thanks.

    Yes I have played NTSC VCDs on a PAL dvd player. It is when u go the other way that the buffer will not let it work. If your tv will play it or not is another thing. If u have a PAL player why not just take 10 min and burn a test. It is much easyer. Might depend on the DVD player most have settings for PAL/NTSC. But I live in europe and that could be why I have no Problem most systems are multi.
