    I am new to this but I want to learn how to rip a DVD to SVCD? I tried a progrm called smartRipper and I ripped the dvd but it made VOB files? I am not sure what thoose are? I want to be able to rip the dvd into rar files and then extracted tthem into a bin and cue so they can be burned onto a cd-r. Can someone recommend me a good prgram to start of with and some tipps? thanks alot
