  1. Hy folks, I'm totaly new to the scene, perhaps this question has been posted before. Here my prob:
While encoding and after encoding I dont have any motion picture. I got the audio from the movie but without the picture. I dont know what I have done wrong with TMPGEnc (i followed the Tutorial on these sites).

Do I need special Decoder / Encoder codecs for this? Where could I get the right stuff?
I can view the original Avi file without problems, no lagging audio or something.

Pleez answer me here, or over ICQ, thanks

  2. A little file called Gspot will give you some information about your avi file. This may help you determine if you need some other decoders/encoders to do the job. This will help you determine what format the source file is encoded in.

  3. Ok due to Gspot I need for the video the DivX3 Low Motion Codec (this is not installed) but I should have this codec because I use the DivX player sometimes.

And due to Gspot I shouldn't see any video but I watch the movie with the Media Player and the Movie works fine.

The only prob makes the mpg encoding, TMPGEnc doesn't show any video or sound (in this green graph at the source range window).

I watched the movie before from CD and it worked fine (its only 1 CD in Avi)

Hmm if u need additional information pleez ask me.
