    has anyone tried dvd-r or dvd+r in the xbox dvd player yet?

    you can play dvd-r but you need a modchip in order for the dvdr(rw) to be read by the x-box pm me if you want a site for this...segboy

    Can it also read CD-R or CD-RW? I have tons of SVCDs on CD-R, and an getting an Xbox for Christmas. Also with a modchip can you watch DVD movies or do you still need the DVD kit?
