  1. First of all I seperated and saved the audio from a avi with Vdub as a PCM-wave and finally joined those two together again as one avi. Then I converted the (NTSC) avi to MPG with Tmpgenc using the NTSC-template but first unlocked it to set pulldown 3:2 and to change the fps to 23.9 because that's the rate of the original avi.

Now I want to make a DVD of this particular Mpg with DVD workshop, also using the NTSC-template, but it says:

Mpeg-audio is not the standard audio for NTSC-DVD
Do you still want to use it?

What format audio do I have to use to make it work or can I continue anyway and will the result be fine?

  2. Although mpeg audio is not the standard audio for ntsc, it will still work in most standalone DVD players.

So continue anyway, it should work just fine.
