    Hi,

    I have some movies ( The Others, Bandits 4 expamle) wich i cannot open in vdub 10. The message i get is cant tell if its a avi file.
    I can play it but i cant open it in Tmgenc, Vdub ect.
    Also i tried to open it with some programs for wma, asf but they dont recognize the file.

    please help me...

    Are you sure it is avi? Maybe it is MPEG2(SVCD).
