Hi all,
I'm a super newbie at this but here goes...
I have converted a avi file to mpeg1 using that tmpeg beta12 thing and I am now trying to burn it on to a vcd to play in my dvd player using Roxio EZCD platinum.
When I try to burn it, everything is ok accept one field. It says that the system clock is not compatible and won't let me burn it???
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks in advance,
Shogun

It should work fine - somehow TMPGEnc was a bit off the VCD standard (or at least Roxio thinks so) -- if this is the case then it's an xVCD and your DVD *should* play it anyway.
My advice would be to uninstall Roxio and use Nero - it's a much better program for making VCD's and just about anything else.

yep nero is good, i hate it, but its good for the newbie
and maybe if it still doesnt work try using the freebie program AVI2MPEG to convert your files
hope that helps

When you use TMPGEnc, "Load" a template, the output will be fine for Easy CD then.
Setting "LOAD" Save > VideoCD (PAL).mcf or VideoCD (NTSC).mcf
