  1. Hi friends,

I am using Ulead DVD workshop 1.2.
My film is 1:54 and burn to 2 hrs DVD dics. I choose Make dics - Low quality (4000kbps, 120 min per DVD) and check "Perform writing test before recording" and check "Do not convert compliant file(g)". But finally the error asks insert another blank dics. Of course I don't want 2 dics for 1 film, so I've accepted to make low quality.

If you have another way, please show me what to do for just 1 DVD dics enough. I don't have much experience on burn DVD.

    Hope you reply soon.
    Thanks a lot.

    Ferrymost,

  2. Since the menus, audio tracks and everything need additional space, you need to lower the quality a bit more (3500 bps maybe). Do you use mpeg audio or PCM? PCM needs a lot more space, but it's the standard for NTSC; if you use PAL then mpeg audio is the best choice. BTW, install the latest patch (1.3) to get additional features.

  3. mpeg1 layer2 audio should work ok on your NTSC DVD if you have a recent DVD player. Some older DVD player did not support mpeg audio, but the newer ones do.

  4. Is there a chance you may have set the number of disks to make to more than one? In that case when the software finishes making the first disk, it asks for a second disk and so on. Also try playing the first disk that is has completed to see if it has all the content it is supposed to have. Just an idea worth checking into.
