Hi all !!
my name is keith I am from Australia, have been thinking about buying a Panasonic E30, the cost of DVD R disks are $19.95 and a pack of 3 DVD RAM disks costs $99.95. The machine itself sells for $1499.00.
I was wondering can the disks be purchased from the states over the net and would they be compatible saving me heaps, conversion rate is about 55 cents to the dollar .Thanks for any info on this matter

I take it you are going to a large retail chain or store?
They are cheaper now (though not necessarily "cheap").
At the computer fairs last weekend, I saw that DVD-R prices have dropped below $AU 10 dollars each...
