Help!

Hi
I know this is a total newbie question but i need some help. I have download a few movies and i wanna cut them in half and convert them to vcd. I know theres faqs here but they didnt help. the format of the files are video clip (Well thats what it says!) Can some one please tell me how to cut them in half and burn them onto a vcd?

Assuming its an AVI or Divx...
Then convert using this:

Cut using this:

Then burn using this:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/nero.htm

I strongly suggest you read the newbie guides to become familiar with the process..
