  1. when encoding a movie it gets half way through and then the video goes off leaving only the audio...this movie is in 2 parts and the second part encoded in exaclty the same way is fine...i have ripped the audio off as a wav and the frame rate is being changed from 23 to 25 pal..i cant see any reason for the video to go off,as it is perfectly fine when played as a vidoe clip in media player on my comp..its only when i encode it that the screen goes black

  2. I assume this is a divx file, it probrably has bad frames in it which are causing the video to freeze. Use virtualdub to scan the video for errors you then save the video with a new name. The new video will be saved with the bad frames removed. Make sure you have direct stream copy selected for video and audio. If you have any problems such as mmx errors when scanning for errors you can use vdub-mp3-freeze. This creates a log of the bad frames which you can remove manually.

  4. its give me 3 bad frames and 107 frames bad but not undecodable...do i save it as an avi..or striped avi

  5. Save it as an avi, with a new name and direct stream copy selected.

  6. when you have scanned for bad files using virtualdub ..when you save it does it automatically remove those bad frames..or do you have to do it manually

  7. It automatically removes them with vdub. With vdub-mp3-freeze they have to be removed manually
