    Hi there everyone,
    This is my first time posting something on your Forums. I wanna take on a project and i would like some suggestions from the masses on couple things seeing that im not well informed on the topic at hand. I wanna do some video editing for a friend of mine, but i want to know the proper way to go about it.
    We just waant to use a single picture as the back ground with sound and Text streaming accross the screen, nothing spectacular.

    What program should i use and how should i go about doing it?

    i'm no expert but i believe you can do this with adobe premiere

    I've done something similar with Paint Shop Pro 7 (Animation Shop 3) and Sonic Foundry's ACID XPress 3.0 (if creating your own sound). Imported the background into Animation Shop 3 and added the Text Effect then saved as AVI and added the sound (made with ACID XPress 3.0) using Virtual Dub. Only thing is that these progs aren't freeware.
