Memorex 4540 help

Does anyone else have this VCR/DVD combo player? If so does it play VCD's for you? And have anyone found a hack to take out the macrovision protection? I have searched and searched and no one seems to know anything about this player. Thanks for any help in advance.

I don't have it but I did some search for you and here it is:

MVD-4540 plays DVDs, VCDs, CDs and MP3 encoded CDs.

DVD: on-screen graphical user interface, parental lock, multi-play slow motion and zoom functions.

Front A/V input jacks.

I know all that information it is in the manual. It won't play vcds for me though and I want to know if anyone else has this. I don't think it is out much since there are no hacks and next to zero information on it. Someone must have it.
