Hit a wall with a custom Widevine L3 ctypes host (4.10.3050.0) inside an Electron container. VMP is production signed via EVS (error 3512 is gone), but when I try to get a license, the CDM internal promise rejects with error sys 22.
What I've tried:
• Blank storage: Falls back to the embedded factory cert, which the server rejects.
• Renderer EME route: Chromium refuses to grant distinctiveIdentifier: required on Windows L3, so type 3 individualization never fires.
• Cert transplant: Copied a 'common' blob from a native Chrome profile, but the CDM flags the instance mismatch, throws sys 75, and wipes the file.
How do you get past the factory cert gate or handle browser-side provisioning when running a standalone 3050 DLL via ctypes? Any tips on clearing sys 22?
