I'm aware of the mother and other beneficial bacterias/probiotics, I make my own kefir and yoghurt and stuff. But I've been using ACV for maybe 5+ years and I've never had anything like this inside it, is this cool or what?

This thing looks like an aquatic creature or something, nothing like any pictures of the mother I see online and I've never had anything like it in my previous bottles.

Looks like some kind of mold to me. Google says the presence of mold means the vinegar is not acidic enough and to throw away the vinegar it is growing in.

I checked some images of mother of vinegar.
It looks like a gelatin disc. Kind of opaque beige in color. Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
Meaning if it's not a developing mother of vinegar it is likely mold.
If it is mold then dispose of the vinegar.
Or get a new bottle of ACV to use & watch this one to see what happens. -
Ok well I havent used it since, and I really dont like the look of it so not gonna bother it's under £5 i'll just get another bottle
