shutter encoder to output to wav ignores endpoint

Hi all.
I am trying to cut a small piece of audio from an .mov file.

When i export the file it ignores my out marker and saves all from the input to the end.
Can anybody help. I use .wav in sound conversion section.

Extract the audio track from the mov first, then cut the resultíng audiotrack only.

Yes looks the way to go. Thought Media Encoder might be a quick win.
