  1. My wife's friend's parent passed recently. They asked I try to save the video from the church website.

The url is: https://www.stmaryswatchung.org/video and I searched Leo to find the specific video.

The video says it's from Boxcast. Googling how to save a boxcast video, I find a chrome extension

    https://webextension.org/listing/hls-downloader.html?version=0.5.6&type=install

and I install it. It finds the video url and I download the 1080 version.

It's a 1+ hour video. I'd rather not watch it to make sure it's OK. Maybe download another way and see at least if the files are identical? I find this page:

    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/407380-Download-video-from-Boxcast

and get yt-dlp and have it download the file, using the URL from the chrome extension.

While that's running, I look at the church webpage. Then based on that videohelp comments, look at inspect / element. Neither have that long URL for the video.

And when yt-dlp ends, the last line says: WARNING: 1080p-byteranges: Possible MPEG-TS in MP4 container or malformed AAC timestamps. Install ffmpeg to fix this automatically

Any advice on how do you manually find the URL of videos in general?

  2. I cannot see the 1080 video. To me, it displays only 480p max resolution (Im using chrome in a pc).

But im not very skilled, for sure you will have a better solution from some users that are really good doing this. Here is the 480p version:

    God bless you.
