    Hello!

I bought a new PC with DDR4 DIMM memory 32 GB.

I want to add the old memory 16 GB. Can I do this and to get 48 GB?

    Thank you for your help.

Check your motherboard manual, the DIMM section and see if this is possible
Usually there are 4 slots for the DIMM RAMS and each pair should be identical.
It might be possible to insert a single DIMM but the maual will tell you exactly where to insert it (if this is possible)

Is your old 16 GB a single DIMM or 2 x 8 GB?
Please be careful. Inserting wrong DIMMs can cause damage to your memories or your motherboard.
Make sure the DIMM is fully inserted in the motherboard and of course switch off the computer entirely and the mains plug out. ESD precaution.
