Maybe you can find a workaround that is working for you.

That's not something I would do in my system. Changing the date, even temporarily, can break a lot of things that depend on the current time and date. If it's a secondary machine that you have for tests and you can restore quickly if it gets messed up, then fine, but I don't.

Thanks rgoertz for the workaround! It does work, but manually changing the date every time feels a bit inconvenient for long-term use. Hope there’s a more permanent fix.
