Hello, I currently have a UHD video file in M2TS format at 23.796, and it has a DTS-HD audio track that is lip-synced.
Throughout the film, it goes from +18,000 ms at the first utterance and ends with a lip-sync of +26,000 ms at the end of the film.
The conversion of the DTS-HD audio track from the same film to 24p Blu-ray was done through TSMUXER using the M2TS-muxing option.
With this conversion, the audio track is automatically converted to the video format and normally to the film's length, which is 2h18:56.
Could you help me?
I would like to integrate this DTS-HD track into a customized UHD file through authoring.
Ans the last problem to resolve is it.

Have you tried the suggestion in post #6 in your other thread?
https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/418698-Convert-Audio-Dts-HD-From-Bluray-24fps-to-A...UHD-23-796-fps -
hello, yes !
I Done it, but it result a new problem about the dts-hd which has a progressive delay when i checked the sound of dts hd (converted in the format 23.976).
impossible to have a fixe delay to resolve.
And i want to use the dts-hd despite the possibility to convert in ac3 (dolby digital) with no delayLast edited by jenrash; 22nd Jul 2025 at 03:19.

Your post is not clear.
Please specify:
1) The FPS of the UHD video stream you want to include.
2) The FPS of the video stream with the audio stream you want to include.
3) Whether both films are exactly the same (with same intro and end credits). -
1) The FPS of the UHD video stream you want to include.--->24p
2) The FPS of the video stream with the audio stream you want to include---->23.796 with Audio track DTHS-HD From Blu-ray Disc 23.796fps
3) Whether both films are exactly the same (with same intro and end credits)---> Yes absolutely
Lenght of the Blu-ray movie disc 23.796 fps : 1h52:48
Lenght of the UHD movie disc 24 fps : 1h53:04
The difference between UHD and Blu-ray is due to the differents fps :15s
When i convert (downgrade) the DTS-HD in audio format AC3 640b 48000kz in 24p , I don't experience any desynchronization.
The problem occurs when I convert the DTS-HD 23.79 format to 24p, where the audio becomes desynchronized and the audio track has no fixed lenght, whereas in the case of the DTH-HD format converted to AC3 24p, the audio file has a fixed lenght.
So I don't know if, in an authoring process, it's possible to reuse a DTS-HD audio file without degrading it to a lower format when there's a change from 24P--->23.976 or 23.976-->24P.
I've experimented with this a lot in recent days, but it's been a failure after failure.Last edited by jenrash; 22nd Jul 2025 at 09:46.

Do you mean 23.976 fps (not 23.796).
There are two way to resolve the desynchronization:
1) Adapt the audio (from 23.976 to 24 fps)
2) Adapt the video (from 24 to 23.976 fps)
The only way I know (without loosing the DTS-HD metadata for the audio, or the Dolby Vision for the UHD Video) is to use MkvToolNix and change the FPS from the UHD videostream to 24000/1001p (23.976), muxing it with the audio- and subtitle streams from the BR.
The audio- and subtitle streams from the BR remain as they are.
This should work. -
In fact ,it's 23.976 !
Well i was using a gui tsMuxeR 2022-07-06 Nightly Portable Windows 64-bit
I have Mkvtoolnix.
won't i lose the us UHD audio track as atmos ????
In finally, i wan't in my final disc
The UHD 2160P with the french trach and subtitles in dth-hd and the english track who are present in the uhd disc. -
